Directions:  
Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper. Place in a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low heat until meat is tender, about 8 hours. Transfer meat to serving dish. Discard parsley and bay leaves. Spoon out fat from top and use remaining liquid as a sauce.
