Directions:  
Sauté onions in olive oil in a large stockpot over medium heat.
Add broccoli and broth; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 3 - 5 min.
Gradually add cheese, stirring until melted.
Blend milk, corn starch & garlic powder then slowly add to soup. Let simmer until thickened.
Top each with 1 tablespoon bacon bits.
