Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Set aside 3/4 cup of apple pie filling.
Add remaining pie filling into the crust. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Then, add eggs; beat well. Pour mixture over apple filling.
Bake for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
Mix together the reserved apple filling and caramel topping in a saucepan. Heat for 1 minute. Spread sauce over cheesecake evenly. Top with chopped pecans. Chill before serving.
