Preheat oven to 350°F.

Lightly grease 3 inch muffin tin or line with paper muffin cups.

Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and baking soda in a large mixing bowl.

In another large mixing bowl, beat together oil, applesause, sugar and eggs until blended.

Gradually stir in dry ingredients and mix until blended. Do not over mix. Batter will be lumpy.

Stir in carrots, raisins and walnuts.

Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until tester comes out clean when inserted into center of a muffin.
