Directions:  
Prepare topping: pour 6 T melted butter into bottom of 10 inch round nonstick pan, make sure it has high sides or make two cakes. Sprinkle in brown sugar. Drizzle honey over sugar.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare cake: sift flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Place softened stick of butter in large bowl and beat until light and fluffy. Add sugar and continue mixing. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Continue beating until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. With mixer on low, add 1/3 of dry mixture. Add half of the buttermilk. Add another third of dry, mix well, add remaining buttermilk then final dry mixture. Mix until smooth. Pour batter into pan.

Bake until set in center and springy, 45 minutes. Run knife around edge and immediately invert onto serving platter. Let sit with pan on top for 5 minutes so caramel can soak in. Let cool completely before cutting with serrated knife.
