Grease the bottom and 1/2 inch up the side of a 9x9x2-inch baking pan.
Stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Make a well in the center of the mixture. Combine eggs, milk and oil in a separate bowl, then add to dry mixture and stir until moistened. Do not overstir! Spoon batter into the greased pan and bake in a 425 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
