Directions:  
Saute chopped onions in olive oil over medium heat until translucent, about 5-7 min.
Add chopped garlic, lower heat a bit. Cook until it becomes fragrant. Watch that it does not burn.
Add tomato paste and cook 1-2 minutes.
Add crushed tomatoes, spices, salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and simmer at least 30 minutes.
