Season fish with salt and pepper. Coat in flour.
Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Slice lemon into 12 circles. Add lemon to the skillet; cook 2 minutes.
Push lemon to one side of the skillet. Add fish; cook 2 or 3 minutes per side.
Add remaining butter and capers to the pan; cook 1 minute. Remove from heat. Serve lemon, butter, and caper sauce over fish.
