Directions:  
Let the meat come to room temperature while you mince the onion. Add the egg & onion to the meat & mash it all together. Add the oatmeal and the tomato paste and mash that all together. Form it into a cylinder and drop it in a loafpan (we like the kind with a rack that drains off fat). Bake for 1 hour at 350 F. Slice and serve 1/4 of the loaf per person.
