Mike's beef stew

1  lb.		stew beef
2  cups		turnips chopped in cubes
1/2  cup		med yellow onion chopped
1  package		McCormick beef stew seasoning
1-1/2  lb.		potatoe
1		Dole Celery - Fresh, Stalk
16  ounces		Dole Carrots - Fresh, Mini Cut

1- lightly flour and pan sear the stew beef
2- in a stew pot add Potatoes, turnips, onions, carrots and celery
3- fill with enough water to cover
4- turn heat on high until water comes to a boil then turn to low
5- once stew meat has seared put in stew pot
6- add water as necessary to cover
7- add seasoning packet
8- add salt and pepper to taste
9- cook over low heat until vegetables are tender, then add one more hour.
