Directions:

combine oats, cereal, and bran in large bowl, set aside.

bring sugars and water to a boil in a small saucepan over med-high heat; remove from heat. stir in peanut butter and vanilla until blended.

pour pb mixture over cereal, stirring until coated. Let stand 10 minutes (chocolate chips will melt if added when mixture is too hot).

mix in chocolate chips (or substitute raisins, nuts, etc.)

press mixture firmly into 13x9x2 inch pan; cool in pan on wire rack.

Cut into approx. 26 bars.
