Bring 1 cup water, prunes, pineapple, fig preserves to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes.

Stir well, and set aside to cool.

In another bowl, measure out pulverized all-bran cereal, flax meal, rolled oats and whole grain flour, baking sodaand sea salt.

In a second bowl, crack two eggs and beat well, add the water, milk and fruit/preserves/oil/vanilla mixture.

Fold in flour by half cups at a time until completely incorporated.

Spoon into lined muffin tins. Bake at º350 for 25 minutes.
