Description: Russian style thicker larger tortellini
Ingredients:  Makes 15 servings (30 pieces)

Directions:  
Boil 8 quarts of water in large pot.
Combine pork and beef in large bowl.
Puree onion in food processor until smooth.
Mix meats and onions well.
Add 1 tsp. salt/5 tsp.pepper/2 tbsp. parsley to mixture.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, add flour, powdered milk and 1 tsp. salt.
Make a small well and add egg. Break yolk and slowly pour water.
Blend until soft dough results.
Keep adding bits of flour if too wet, and more water if too dry.
Kneed lightly until blended.
Roll out onto floured surface and cut 2 in' rounds with cookie cutter.
Spoon in by teaspoons, meat mixture.
Close dough into small half moons. Pinch closed and ready the rest.
Once water is rapidly boiling. Add pelmeni to it. Let boil like ravoili or tortellini. In approximately 8 -12 minutes pelmeni will rise to the surface.
Spoon out with draining ladle.
Drain well.
Serve hot with butter or homemade russian dressing or cream cheese.
