Directions:

In shallow dish, combine apple juice, lemon juice, onions, and savory.

Add pork chops, turning to coat both sides.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, turning chops occasionally.

Remove chops from marinade and place on a rack in broiler pan.

Strain marinade and set it aside.

Bake chops at 375 for 20 minutes

Combine 3T of marinade with applesauce and brush chops with the mixture.

Increase oven temp to 400 and bake until chops are done, 20-30 minutes, brushing frequently with applesauce mixture.

Slice red and green apples into 1/2 inch thick slices

In medium skillet, cook the sliced apples in the remaining marinade until the apples are tender.

Serve chops topped with apples and hot marinade
