Dice onion and mince garlic, set aside.

Cube pork steaks, removing bones and trimming off fat.

Cook stirring frequently until the outside of pork pieces are no longer pink.

Reduce heat to medium, and let simmer covered for 1 hour or until pork has reached your desired tenderness.

Salt and pepper as needed.

If mixture is too watery, increase heat and cook with lid off to thicken.
