Season eggplant and zucchini with salt. Let stand for 30 minutes; rinse and drain.
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. In a large skillet, saute eggplant, zucchini, and onion until tender, about 7 minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low heat; cook 3 minutes.
Top cooked pasta with vegetable sauce. Top with mozzarella cheese. Broil for 5 minutes to heat and melt cheese.
