Directions:  
Mince garlic. Put the oil in a skillet and saute the garlic, onion, cumin, oregano, paprika and cayenne until the onions are soft. Add beans, water, and salt and simmer about 20 minutes.

Puree soup in a food processor or blender. Return to pot, reheat to desired serving temperature, season to taste with pepper and more cayenne if desired.
