Slice chicken, as thinly as possible, into bite-sized pieces. Mix chicken, basil, and teaspoon of oil in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for an hour (if time permits).

Preheat large skillet over a high heat. Lower heat to medium and add the remaining oil. Swirl to coat pan and add garlic. When garlic begins to brown, return to high heat, and add chicken mix. Stir and add peppers. Continue to stir until chicken has cooked. Add soy sauce and lime juice. Stir well and turn off heat. Serve immediately (over rice).
