Drain pineapple (Keep the juice!)

In saucepan combine pineapple juice, egg, flour, sugar, and vinegar and cook on low heat until thick, stir constantly to avoid sorching

Put in fridge to cool

Cut apples.

In bowl combine apples, cool whip, 3/4 cup peanuts, pineapple

After mixture cools stir into other ingredients

Refrigerate overnight or several hours before serving
