Heat oil in frying pan and brown meat on both sides. Season with the salt and pepper. Put meat with the oil in crock pot. Add onions. Combine brown sugar, flour, bouillon cube, ginger, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce and water in a separate bowl and mix until dissolved. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours. Take meat out, pull it apart (it will pretty much fall apart). Return to Crockpot and add mushrooms. Let sit for another 20-30 minutes. Serve with rice, egg noodles, or mashed potatoes
