Directions:

Start with about 4 pounds of Yukon Gold or Red potatoes. Slice, peel, or scoop out eyes and blemishes, but keep most of the skin on the potatoes. Wash the potatoes.

Cut the larger potatoes into chunks about the same size as the smaller potatoes.

Boil potatoes in a large pot of water for 30 minutes.

Mix potatoes in KitchenAid mixer with the butter and salt.

Add milk and mix until the texture is mostly but not completely uniform.

Serve with gravy.
