Directions:  
Dice all vegetables to about the same size. Heat olive oil and saute vegetables until tender (about 5 minutes), then add vegetable broth. Add salt, pepper, sage, and thyme to taste. Heat through for 2 minutes, then add 1/2 of beans, mashed, and diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer and add remaining beans and fresh spinach. Heat until spinach is wilted.
