Directions:

Cook rinsed lentils in water and vegetable base until just cooked, about 20 minutes. Do not drain.

Saute mushrooms, onions, carrot and celery until soft. Add garlic, herbs, tomato paste and flour and stir for a minute. Add corn and lentils with water and mix together. Remove from heat.

Mash drained potatoes with butter and milk.

Place lentil mixture in 8"x 8" baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
