Ingredients:  Makes 8 servings (8 cups)

Directions:

pour 2 liters of water into a large pitcher or jug

grate 1 tsp worth of fresh ginger

peal and cut one medium cucumber into thin slices

cut 1 medium lemon into thin slices

add 12 mint leaves or 1 tsp of dried mint to the water, then add the remaining ingredients

let soak overnight

I LOVE this water. Instead of mint, I had fresh basil....GREAT! One time I used fresh sage. this water is a lifesaver. If you drink two or three glasses of it, you feel more satisfied than plain water. Plus I eat the cucumbers when they drop in! I put it in a 'fancy' pitcher and serve it to guests, too!! So pretty. :-)
