Directions:  
Sift flour, soda, spices and salt into medium bowl. Add flax seed. Whisk eggs and vanilla together. Lightly spray a loaf pan with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

With a mixer, cream butter and sugar. Add egg mixture and blend until smooth. Add mashed bananas (batter will appear curdled but it is not).

With a spatula, mix flour into butter/banana mixture in three batches. Add nuts until mixed. Pour in loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool for five minutes and then take out fo pan and continue to cool completely on a wire rack.
