first preheat oven to 350 degrees, then melt butter (approximately 45 seconds in the microwave) add in both eggs, vanilla, salt and baking soda. stir together and mix in until smooth mixture results.

mix in sugar and brown sugar until smooth mixture

mix in flour folding it in to the mixture, there should be no lumps and should be very creamy.

add in chocolate chips, fold them in and work from the bottom up to mix them in
5 bake for 9 minutes, immediately remove from the pan and put on wax paper or cooling rack to prevent crispy cookies :)
