1.) Combine the flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, clove and baking powder. Make a well in the center of flour mixture; set aside. Combine the egg, milk,applesauce, Add egg mixture all at once to flour mixture. Stir just until moistened, then add pumpkin. mix well

2.) for standard size use a 1/4 cup of mixture on a lightly greased with cooking spray on a griddle or heavy skillet... on medium heat until golden brown and the surface is slightly bubbly... flip for second side.. edges should be slightly dry...
