Wash mushrooms and slice them. set aside. Chop onion and red pepper and add to heated oil. Brown onion and red pepper the add mushrooms, 1 cup water and italian seasoning. Bring to boil and then let it simmer covered for 15 minutes. In the mean time mix flour in the beaten egg. When mushrooms are cooked, with a teaspoon add in the stew liquid small quantities of egg mixture. Add salt and pepper to taste. Let it cook until the dumplings are cooked. Serve with parsley and sourcream. I usualy have broccolli as a side dish. Enjoy.
