So....I've been working my tail off. Abs, yoga, weight training, running.....and lately I have been seeing a weight gain! What gives?! I am trying to not just go by the scale....I have been measuring myself too. And on that end I am losing! My abs have tightened up quite a bit...which was my goal. Yowzers do my abs hurt today....I just started a workout plan four days ago through FitClick ( I apologize for the life of me I can't remember what it is called) & it has a lot of ab work in it. I choose it because that is where I am most lacking. I am a mom of two (youngest is 9 months) and have had two c-sections and my stomach has never been the same since my first little boy. So one week down of being back on the healthy eating track....three days of kicking my booty with workouts....and I've lost three lbs!!! Amazing! I think I stepped on and off the scale about 10 times in disbelief. That means....7 more pounds to go until I reach my goal. Woooooooooah! Total lose so far is 23 lbs from my heaviest point back in December. Pretty darn cool! I feel great....well, minus wicked soar abs!!! But I will take the pain with the gain....muscle that is! : )

So....my journey of losing weight and getting into shape started back in April. It had been going strong for about 2 1/2 months and then hit a few bumps. My husband and I had been training for an upcoming race in August and doing lots of running. I think I may have pushed too hard and too fast cause I ended up with a stress fracture in my left tibia. Which put me at a complete halt when it came to running....I thought no problem...I can always just lift and set up my bike to get in my cardio...
