We recommend drinking water instead of your soda fix, but you can switch to diet soda if you are okay with the artificial sweeteners. This weight loss tip alone can result in almost a pound a week of weight loss.

#2. The Golden Rule of Breakfast - Eat It!

Studies have shown that people who eat breakfast are more likely to lose weight and keep it off. Eating breakfast jump-starts your metabolism and helps prevent binge eating later in the day. If you skip breakfast you are setting yourself up for hunger induced overeating at lunch and dinner, which often results in more total calories for the day.
