My daughter and I took a Zumba class tonight. We realized that we are neither have any rhythm and should stay away (far away) from dance classes. The up side is that we probably burned around 700 calories in 60 minutes. But I don't think even that will get me back in there. I just can't follow the moves and I feel stupid. I just can't dance. At least I should sleep good tonight.

My mother-in-law was here last week and although my eating was a bit more out of control and my workouts went out the window I think I've maintained for the week. We did do a huge amount of yard work on Saturday, hauling 5 pickup loads of yard clippings to the dump. I raked and shovelled until I couldn't do it anymore. I was a bit sore on Sunday but not bad once I got up and got moving.
Today I'm back on track and had a good workout, doing 30minutes on the eliptical for 322/calori

Ate weird but within target. Had a great workout. Weighed on scale at gym, I've lost 5lbs. On my scale at home I've lost nothing, I like their scale better.

Spent the day doing nothing really. No exercise, shopping, shopping, shopping. Found a workout top, a cute dress for my daughter, and some birthday gifts for my husband. Tomorrow I'm back to workouts. I did eat pretty good today aside from the two glasses of wine. I made blackened sea bass with bell peppers and onion. My daughter made a really good smoothie this morning.

I'm still working hard but a little discouraged by the scale. I've been working my butt off at the gym for two weeks and eating about 1/2 the calories I was and I haven't lost a pound! Prior to making these drastic changes I had lost 8lbs. I would have expected to lose 2-3 lbs each week so I'm very disappointed not seeing any pounds come off. I feel good and I'm seeing some more muscle tone in my legs but still 1350 calories a day and nothing! I'm journaling EVERYTHING I eat down to the last nib...

Light eating today, busy, busy, busy. Helped a friend out at her kids school with a carnival and didn't get dinner until 9:00pm. Lg Wendy's chili was on the menu instead of the bowl of pasta I really wanted. Tomorrow I'm treating myself with a pedicure shared with my cuz Shelley. Then some healthy grocery shopping. I'm so glad it's the weekend.

Potlucks are the devil's work. I think I did fine, even with the small piece of cheesecake. I'll work extra hard at the gym tonight to make up for the slice of Papa Murphy's Pesto Chicken deLite (180c) and the 4" ham Subway on wheat, oh and the 2/3c of buffalo chili with 3 beans. I had a good day despite a small set back (always read the small print)! For "Admin Appreciate Day" our bosses brought in scones and flowers. I looked up the calories for Great Harvest Berry Cream Cheese Scones online and was encouraged to find it was only 290c. I ate 1/2 of one and was recording the calories when I noticed the really small print that said 1 serving-1/2 scone. Instead of eating 145calories I'd had the whole 290! I was careful to eat just what I'd planned the rest ...

I did really well today with food intake. We went to Costco tonight and had a quick dinner. I had 1pc of combo pizza and was shocked when I came home and looked up the calories, 775! It total blew my calories for the day. Oh, well I guess that means I'll have to do 10 more minutes on the evil eliptical machine at the fitness center tomorrow.
