OK - so this is the first full week of heading to the gym to work out. My BFF and I have been hitting the gym at 5:45 a few times this week to get in some cardio -- time is at a premium w/ a newborn in the house. The 5:45 time doesn't bother me so much as the monotony of the work out. I would love to hop from machine to machine, but I am quite out of shape and need to stick w/ the treadmill for a while, just to build up endurance.

I gave birth to my son on March 30 of this year. The last year has been difficult for me, as I lost my mother in November and my father in February and was expecting a new one in March....talk about a gambit of emotions...not the best for an emotional eater. Needless to say, I gained more than I should have with my pregnancy and need to take off the extra pounds...NOW. I feel pretty comfortable at 130, but should probably be no more than 125.
