Well 5 weeks in and I have lost 9lbs and my 5km time has gone from 31mins to 26 mins. So I could not be happier.
I have lost a dress size and comfortably fit into a US 10 now - a little tight before.
The next challenge is a trip to the UK for a week and a half which will prove challenging. If I can continue to lose weight whilst there I will be stoked.
For valentines day my hubby got me flowers instead of chocolates which was immensely appreciated. H...

Well it is the end of the first week and I have lost 3 lbs. Not a bad start. I am starting to get used to the low carbs but earlier in the week it was a struggle. I have opted to continue with the low carb diet for another 2 weeks so we shall see how far we get.

Well today is the third day of the journey and my cold is not getting any better. It is making me feel quite lowsy. I have stuck to the plan so far but it is too early to see any impact as yet.
It is requiring me to think ahead as to what I am going to be eating which as I am a full time working mother is quite hard but a challenge.
I am enjoying the food I am having which makes a diet much more tolerable so we shall see how this goes.

Today I start the long journey.
My new years resolution was to work less hours and as a result have more time for myself. I am not an overweight person but with my work and family I just have not given much time for myself. My running stopped and I have gained 4 lbs (not bad considering we just finished christmas).
