I was reading my activity log and saw a status post that you put out regarding "worrying about getting better first, weight loss sec"........ it was cut off at that point and I couldn't read all of it. Here's my take on that - take out the "WORRY" part. That's just added stress that you and your body doesn't need. Instead try to use the word "FOCUS". It changes the tone and doesn't add stress. Focusing on your goals keeps you moving forward. We all have enough stress in our lives without any unnecessary worrying to do! An old saying "If you can fix it, fix it. If not, don't worry about it!" Your positive attitude is wonderful! Keep it up! :o)

Looks like we are all on the same track but I am the one with the most to lose. Hopefully we all will get to our goals. Good luck.

Thanks for adding me. I dont know why. I am not good at losing but I do eat healthy. I have bad muscles due to 4 surgeries in a row last year so exercising is rough. I can walk but have to stop alot. I had two foot surgeries so even they are messed up. I have read parts of what you and your brother are going thru and it sounds rough. Dont understand it all since I am readying Holly's end. lol Good luck and yes, get better first and then worry about the weight. The doc will not let you gain to much.

Wow... that's some heavy stuff. Well, I hope your Dr. is able to find a solution for both you and your brother. It's not fun being sick!!! On top of that if you don't eat meat.... well, that really limits you. Even though our stories are different, we both ride the same train taking this a day at a time to find what works for us as individuals. I see where you are fighting infection and have gained your weight back. Work on your health first. When that is taken care of you can focus on your body. Eventually you will find what works. Keep journaling everything no matter how bad it is so you can stay focused on your long term goal. Don't let it get you down!!!! Patience. One day at a time. We'll still be here for you!!! Hang in there girl...

  • On Tuesday night i had a set back. I ate a gluten filled rueben and large french fries. Overloaded my digestive system which is already weak and fragile. I became completely sick and was in severe pain. I need to realize this is my life now, To embrace clean eating and supporting my digestive system. It also was a hard day mentally. I am working thru my issues and hopefully feeling better soon. Just wishing that i did not have to work and be stuck here.
