    If you are currently eating a healthy diet that is keeping your weight constant and you start jogging/walking 3 miles per day without increasing your calorie intake, then you should lose weight. But if you are gaining weight on your current daily calorie intake then you may or may not lose weight adding the 3 miles of exercise, but you would hopefully gain less.
