Really, this is just what I use. It's working for me so far. I have an inhome elliptical CT 3.8 and I do crunches in between runs. That's about it, really.  Thirty minutes to an hour daily.

  • Still looking for some friends about my age that are going through the same thing.  I am also looking for an exercise friend if possible.  I live in Houston on the west side.  I used to go to the LA Fitness on Hwy 6/Bissonett but don't want to re-join there in case I can find an exercise friend that already goes to another facilty.  Let me know if you are intersted!

  • Like 1144, I'd suggest consulting your physician. Make sure you're breathing full breaths in and out through the workouts as that tends to elevate your blood pressure if you don't. i.e. if you breath in on the contraction, don't hold your breath on the extension, make sure you breath out through your mouth.

    If you're eating or drinking something consistently pre-workout, eliminate one...
