4 days a week beginner cardio 4 times per week with 3 days rest. Concentrate on keeping RPM's same speed to maintain heartrate at desired exertion level. Lower if heartrate becomes too high for comfort.

    I have to agree not the same at all cross training is your best option if you can run still. I was actually a swimmer and I feel I get a better "burn" if you will running however, being a bit older now swimming can kick my butt
