    My son gave me the Ultimate Walking Workout with Chris Freytag, which I have been working out to.  I have to modify alot of the steps because of my osteoarthritis, but I still get a really good workout. I also use 1 pound weights when I'm working out with this DVD, hopefully, that little bit will help burn off a few more calories.

  • I believe sweating has more to do with the cooling system in the body. I would suspect heavy sweating is good during a workout, but using plastic suits etc seems unnecessary, unless you are trying to detox your system. The average human has 2-4 million sweat glands, so I doubt extra sweating does anything but make you lose electrolytes.
