It's been a while since i've used this app. I tried a new eating plan and got away from using a food journal and a scale. And while I had great success with this plan, after six months of being off it, I find the weight just keeps creeping up. So I'm back. I'm hoping to lose about 15 to 20 pounds by the start of fall.

So I blew out my heel running last Friday, and spent the weekend with it iced and elevated. It feels better now, but I know if I just head out and start running right away I'll only injure it worse. So..... weight training it is. I have to say - I'm not a fan. I know the benefits are great - you burn more calories working out and at rest than you do with a cardio exercise. I just don't enjoy it nearly as much as a good run.

This winter has been brutal!! Oh how I long to run outdoors without having to wear seven layers and dodge piles of snow and ice.... I abandoned running outside and have been running on a treadmill at the gym for the past few months. I feel like a hamster on a wheel. I look down the rows of equipment and see more of the same.
Come on spring - please make an appearance so that I can get back to a more interesting landcape!!
