It's been a while since I have logged on to this site. I have fallen off the wagon a bit. I have always struggled with that. I am wanting to give myself one year to lose weight and get my body ready for a baby. I am 26 years old and I can tell that my biological clock has been ticking for a while now. I am married and have a stable job and home and love babies. That is my goal! I also want to try and beat this rap on people with diabetes always needing to take pills. I want to quit going to...

So... for the past week I have been way too busy to workout, but I have continued to be really strict with what I put in my mouth. I need to go weigh in tonight and I'll clock my results later.
I will be happy with one lb lost. Wish me luck everyone!

I went to my diabetes doctor yesterday for a checkup and he's super excited about my weight loss. He wants my numbers to stop looking like a roller coaster though and become more in tune and leveled. I am going to work on that, but he's older and very set in his practices and what he wants out of me isn't even what the Center for Diabetes wants! UGH
Baby steps at ...

I took advantage of my lunch break again. Went and walked to the bank and back and around outside for 20 minutes. Came back in and ate a sensable low cal lunch: light soup & with steamed veggie medley. All small portions and yummy!!!!
I have to say with it not being so hot now outside, it's really put a pep in my step to go outside and walk around. My...

I took a week off of working out for personal reasons, but back in the swing of things today. I got my walking shoes on and ready to go tonight. It's raining here all day today so I'll be working out inside. I HATE taking days off of working out because I can always tell a difference in my energy levels.
I'm going to work it out tonight. Hopefully 3 miles, plus a little cardio to warm up and weight training. LOVING LIFE!!!!

I guess I never realized how many restaurants cater to people watching their diet. Grilled, steamed, butterless, fresh, etc... these are all words that I see, but never really cared about. This morning I got a great smoothie and it was sugar free, soy milk, and size small. 160 calories for a 16 oz cup and it was delish!!!!!
I really like the life changing decision I have made and I'm glad to have such a good support system. When I lose all my weight, I'M GETTING A NEW WARDRO...

**Wishing I had a gym membership**
I need to get one. My husband gets a free one through his medical insurance, so that leaves me paying for one membership which is pretty awesome. For now, I workout either outside or in the comfort of my own home. I have noticed that things are getting easier. I can now do the 3 mile without getting so winded. Still winded, just not nearly as much. Still sweatin up a storm during my workout and still losing weight. Life is good!!!
