My friend Annie and I have been training together on Mondays for the River Bank 5K, last night we decided to run the whole time instead of interval train so I could get a feel for what a sustainable pace was and she didn't have to walk on her hurting shins (running actually feels better on them than walking). So...we set out w/ a 2mi. goal and started at a 10 1/2 min. pace...it felt SO slow at first...but by the end we had slowed to between 11 and 11 1/2 min. pace and it no longer felt slow!! ...
