Finding my Fitness Mojo

So, I was the fittest of my life about a year or so ago. Then I was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis. It is an autoimmune disease that attacks the kidneys.  Needless to say my eating habits and workout routines went by the wayside while I underwent Chemo and various other treatments.

Since diagnosed in October of 2008 I have come to realize that I have completely lost the motivation and drive that I once had for eating right and exercising.  It is time to get it back! All of my labs are reading that there are very little traces of Lupus in my kidneys which means I am in remission. (Yea!).  I still have to be very cautious in what I do, but I think it is time to get my body back.

I would say that I have 15-20 lbs to loose to get back to my 'ideal' weight. This also means a bunch of toning is required as well.

Here is the plan:

4-5 Days of Cardio a week for 30-45 min
2-3 Days of Strength Training a week
-Focusing on Arms, Abs, and Butt (Lunges)
Caloric Intake: <1400/Day.

If I can maintain this I should be back on track by the end of January. MAN THAT IS GOING TO FEEL GOOD!
