Long Hard Journey

Weight loss for me is a long and hard journey. I have tried for many years and not been very successful. I would lose weight and inches and then I would turn around and gain it back plus some. This time I am determined to lose and make it last. I am not looking for a quick weight loss solution but a lifestyle change. Adding workouts to my daily routine is become more natural. I try to work out or do some sort of physical activity every day. I have found that on the days that I don't do any physical activity I am drained. I don't want to do anything because I feel so tired. I have also cut back on the amount of calories that I consume on a daily basis by a lot. I used to eat way too much food. I am a little hungry durring the day but not too bad because I eat 5 or six times a day versus three. I have found that by eating more small meals a day I don't feel bloated and stuffed because I eat less at the meal and it takes less food to fill me up.
So far I have been at this weight loss thing for a few weeks and I have lost 2 1/2 inches on my waist and three pounds. I would like to lose the weight a little faster because the 3 punds came off two in the first week and one in the second and none this week. Maybe I need to work out a little bit more. I meed more activity squeezed into my day. There is just so much to do every day around my house especially with the new baby. I am trying to get on a schedule so that I can work out first thing in the morning before anybody gets up for the day. The problem I have with that is the baby doesn't go to bed until around midninght and then if I get up at 5 am to work out and get my day started then I am only getting 5 hours of sleep every day. I guess I could take a nap after the other three go to school before the baby wakes up. I am going to try that this week and see how it works. I may have found my solution. If not I will try again next week with something else.
