Oats for breakfast is a great way to lower cholesterol

I’m having a bowl of oats every morning for breakfast and snacks! I bought some quick oats to help me out, though the less processed ones eg rolled oats have slightly more dietary fibre.

I prefer them savoury rather than sweet.

  • Oats with miso soup
  • Oats boiled in hot water and wakame seaweed
  • Oats with hot skimmed milk and banana and walnuts
  • Oats with hot soya milk and raisins and walnuts
  • Oats with hot skimmed milk and cranberry/craisins and walnuts
  • Oats with tuna
