Monday, urg. Woke up late and rushed to work. Not a great way to start the day off. So i cleared my mind and stopped by Country Time and grabbed a Bagel w/creamcheese and a tea.

Got to work, had a few laughs and settled in.

1pm @ Kombat Arts to train with Kru Joey.
- 6 x 3min rounds incorporating the 8 counts with checks and knee counters.
- 5 rounds of kettlebell routine. Swings, squats and pushups
- stretched
- 80% workout

5pm @ Kombat Arts to teach and train.
Taught the 5-6pm BEG Muay Thai class. Focused on the basic to see what students will qualify for the upcoming green shirt test.

Jumpped into the 6pm ADV class to work hands with the focus on the jab. This was a greast drill as it allowed us to really see our openings and where and when you can counter.

8:30-10pm @ Buckleys
Right off the bat, as soon as we got to the gym, my assistant instructor and I felt a weird vibe in the place. There seemed to be a weight pushing down on the place. Even when a couple my competitive fighters showed up, they also seemed a little off.

The day should have been an awesome session, we had all 3 Muay Thai instructors in! very rare to have all 3 of us in at the same time.

We currently have two fighters training for their upcoming bouts. We spent time during class to push them extra hard and even jumped in and traded punches with them. They were both off. Mentally.

Mentally training is more then 50% of the fight game. I can't remember the exact precentage, but mental training is just as important and the technical aspect. Both fighters were having mental issues. The male fighter recognized this and actually stepped out of class and spoke to my assistant about it. This is good. Recognition of an issue is very important. Our female fighter however ot rocked by the other instructor and was our for the rest of the class. Its a hard lession to learn, especially when it can be prevented. You have to train harder in training to make ur fight easier. Train hard, Fight easy.
Interesting night. But I feel great today. Physically and mental. Knees are a little sore from all the squats but Im loving the pain.
