Starting out!

Well Jan 14 was the first day and  about the 100th time I've started  a diet. I like most have searched and researched and started and quit lots of times. I  sure hoping this is the one. lol... If you can't laugh then what fun is it. Anyway back to my first day. It took me a total of all day to figure out what I wanted to do then I had to figure out how I wanted to workout.
Now I tell you I am not a fitness nut, but I know you have to move to loose. So I am starting out with walking and then I am going to work myself up every day.  So the first day I walk 5 minutes then then next day I up to 10 minutes, now I am 15 minutes. My target is 30 minutes. When I feel like it  and have lost 20lb I will start adding some exercise with my little dumb bells.
Carl is wanting to loose also, so together we are on this journey.  We pick the lowfat diet and let fitclick pick our foods. I need someone to tell me what to eat and keep track of the fat and calories for me. So far we love it! I have him login on his own site. Then I just go over and  pick his meals so they match mine, He has to have more Calories and Fat than I . So this makes it so much easier to go groc. shopping and we eat the same meals he just has an extra snake and little more fruit than I. I love it. What I really like also is I click on something like the salad and it tells me exactly how to make it. I have had to change a meal or two because I could not find some of the meals but they make that easy to do also. I love it. So that is it for today and I will check back at the end of my week and let you know how much we both have lost.. Sueyq
