Here I go again...on this weight loss journey. I feel more calm this time. Not so much in a rush or frenzy. I hope that is a good sign. I now realize that losing this weight wont happen overnight therefore, its okay to take some time in doing it. There is no rush as long as I keep an even motivation going. As long as I dont stray from what I am doing in the first place, I should be okay. We have become too hurried in this life as it is. I didnt wake up one morning and all of a sidden realize, "Hey Im 100 pounds heavier than I was yesterday". No I put on this weight little by little, day by day over a long period of time. I saw it coming. Because of our "conveniences" in life though,I let it go. It was way too easy to take the elevator instead of the stairs. Driving around the parking lot to look for a closer spot was way less taxing than actually having to walk the extra steps! Not having to do anything has just gotten way too easy anymore. Lo' and behold my surprise then when I wanted to do something fun, like everyone else, and ride on a roller coaster, and I couldnt! "Sorry Ma'am, if the bar wont go down, you will have to get off". Depressing, embarrassing words no one should ever have to endure. Or how about the several times since that I have gone to the doctors office for a cold or migraines or an ingrown toenail!!!! and I get the "Its time to lose weight or things will get worse" talk. Its scary and embarrassing and everything else thrown in. So for me, yes it is time to change. Can I do it alone? No.But Im willing to try if you out there willl give me a hand. My life depends on it. Im here to do the same for you.
