No More Soda

So everyone has New Year's Resolutions. I was no different. While, I have daily struggles, each day is a new one and I can always give it my best. One of my resolutions was to only drink one can of soda once a week. This as been my hardest resolution as I used to drink between 4-8 cans of soda a day. I have slipped a couple of time but since New Year's I have only had roughly 6 cans of soda...a huge step down where I would consume that in a day.
Going into my 3rd week since New Years, I have lost 4 lbs. The only major change has been my consumption of my favorite beverage. I have begun to replace my soda wit water, V8 Splash, Orange Juice and Skim Milk. I feel less thristy, my lips aren't chapped, my IBS has improved a lot!
So I encourage everyone to give up the drink...yes even diet. You'll feel better in just two weeks. The Special K diet promises 6 lbs in 2 don't have to buy anything for this "diet" in get to save money. Water is free and does your body a lot better.
Today, I begin working out. I'll update with more 'pearls' soon.
