The final 25...Days 1 & 2

I can't believe i've actually started a weight loss blog, but i have been searching for a way to hold myself accountable for my habits, and this seems to be the best one i can think of.  Not that anyone will actually read it, but anyways...

I started this journey after having my daughter (who is now 2).  Over the last ohh year and a half, i managed to lose over 70 lbs, and have now put back on ten of them.  VERY FRUSTRATING! But at least i know why this has happened...bad diet, and not enough exercise.  As of yesterday (day 1), i am now on a 1300 calorie per day diet, (mainly sticking to fruits, veggies, lean meats, & whole grains), and requiring myself to exercise at least 30 minutes 5 days a week.  I have been incorporating exercise into my weekly routine since new years, and have slowly built up some stamina & confidence.

My first deadline is April 16th.  I leave for another trip to vegas on the 17th, and bought a pretty new pink bikini that i WILL be wearing out there.  Failing is not an option this time around. I am sick of worrying about my weight & body.

After 30 minutes of cardio & 15 of strength training last night, I woke up on Day 2 feeling GREAT! Lots of energy, good mood etc.  Today is going well, and I have stuck with the plan to a "T".

Hopefully I can find a diet/workout buddy.  hmmmm.....
