I was up at 6 to use the treadmill but my hubby hadn't left for work yet and he told me he got the call around 4:50 AM that his cousin, our friend passed on. I've been in a fog for the rest of the day.
The weigh in was a total disappointment.  My scales showed as of a few days ago that I lost 8 lbs this past month. This morning on my scales I was up 3, not unexpected since we had Japenese two nites ago and a late supper last night. So it should have been approx. a five lbs loss. Yeah right....I have worked so hard this past month and according to the doctors scales I lost only two lbs.  Next month they want to take a test that checks my metabalism?  I'm not sure what that entails or how it will help with anything.  So as far as today goes the diet was a total screw up. I guess I went on a mini food binge tonight.
As for the trip to my friends for her birthday......we really didn't do much. Shopped on the computer, hung stuff on the wall, went to the bank and KMart and I lugged some empty boxes from the attic to my car so I can burn them tomorrow.  I ran a couple erruns on the way home, got supper and did a little cleaning. Put all my snowman stuff away and got out the normal stuff.  Maybe will put out some Easter stuff tomorrow.
Then I watched a new show called Parenthood...I liked it and luckily it's on on my night off!  Not so good though is that I ate my way through the whole hour.
